RELATIONS WITH REGIONAL ORGANIZATIONS

Interests have been expressed by several regional organizations proposing to establish or strengthen existing relations with ASEAN. These organizations include the South Pacific Forum, Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO), South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation (SAARC), the Rio Group, and the Gulf Cooperation Council. ASEAN is currently studying the various proposals from these regional organisations.
